James L. Soreth

James L. Soreth, formerly of Hilltown, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010. He was 64.
He was the husband of Lynne (Wiles) Soreth.
Born Aug. 9, 1945, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Ethel (Menold) Soreth.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, horseback rider and motorcycle enthusiast.
He retired as a section chief in 2000 from the Federal Government in Philadelphia, where he was employed for more than 35 years. Jim was the recipient of numerous awards during his employment, including Federal Executive Board Honors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Scott J. Soreth (Jane) of Chalfont; four brothers, Lenard, Paul, Lawrence and Ernest Soreth; and two grandchildren, Amenda and James Soreth. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Soreth.

Robert Emerson Roehm, age 59, died Sunday, September 30, 2012. Bob was born September 5, 1953 to Ralph and Virginia (Gray) Roehm. He attended St. Peter's Grade School, Iroquois and Strong Vincent High Schools. Bob worked in Corrections for the Erie County Prison for 22 years. He also worked at Bucyrus Erie, Peninsula Inn, and Sherlocks where he was head of security. Bob was a member of the Lake Erie Blue Knights Pa. XVIII. Brother Bob was preceeded in death by his father, best friends Steve Chludzinski and Norb Lopez, and his precious dog Sweet Pea. He is survived by his wife Patricia; his daughter, Jenny Jane Roehm Jones and her husband Julian of Redondo Beach, California; his mother, Virginia Gray Roehm; granddaughter Tariah Jones; his sister, Margaret (Peaches) Lamary and her husband, George, Sr. of Erie; his brother, Jack Roehm of Erie; sisters- in-law Connie Daniels and Frances Coyle, husband Patrick; nieces: Victoria Roehm of Erie, Tammy Lamary, husband Jeremy of Erie, Kimberly Williams and her husband, Robert of Erie and Tina Lamary of Erie, Diane Skibinski and Michelle Skibinski; nephew George Lamary, Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Erie, Quentin, Julias and Jamal, and George Skibinski, and his best friends Jack and Audrey MacArthur.
